Launch Ceremony of the "Green Business Challenge 2026 – Leading the Future" Competition at Thuongmai University

Attending the event from AP Saigon Petro Joint Stock Company were MA. Nguyen Bao Trung – General Director of the Company and the initiator of the "Green Business – Sustainable Development" strategic orientation throughout the APSP system; and MA. Pham Thanh Minh – Head of Marketing Department and Head of the GBC 2026 Organizing Committee.

The ceremony was also honored by the presence of the Board of Judges – esteemed professional advisors and business representatives, including: Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Huong – Master of Finance, Director of PG Bank Ho Chi Minh City, Founder of BizLeaders Vietnam, and BOD member of Vietnam Creative Ventures Fund Management JSC; Mr. Nguyen Tran Thien – Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Vingroup; and Mr. Gary Huynh – Head of Partnership at The Master Channel.

Representing Thuongmai University were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Duc Nhuan – Vice President; Dr. Phan Dinh Quyet – Director of the Center for Enterprise Relations and Job Placement; Deans and Vice-Deans of various Faculties/Institutes; representatives of the competing teams; and numerous interested students.

Under the inspiring guidance of the experienced judges and their multi-dimensional perspectives, Thuongmai University students were not only introduced in detail to the competition rules and the roadmap of the rounds, but also had the opportunity to learn directly from top business leaders—individuals who are actively creating green business models in practice.

The "Green Business Challenge 2026" competition is held simultaneously at four locations: Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Hue, and Can Tho. This year's competition serves as both an academic playground and a launching pad for students' green start-up ideas to flourish. Through this experiential journey, participants will train their skills in creative thinking, project management, teamwork, and developing business strategies oriented toward sustainable development.

Embodying the spirit of "Regenerating Energy from Multi 3R," Thuongmai University once again affirms the importance of career guidance, linking education with industry, and inspiring a young generation of students who aspire to make positive changes for the community and the environment. The Launch Ceremony of the "Green Business Challenge 2026 – Leading the Future" at Thuongmai University concluded successfully, opening up opportunities for Vietnamese students in general, and TMU students in particular, to shine with their knowledge and passion.
